Our story

Patrick Labouesse, founder of Labomeca, established a high-precision machining workshop in 2002 in Antananarivo. Specializing in turning, milling, and grinding, this workshop is the result of extensive technical expertise acquired over ten years of experience at the prestigious EMBL (European Molecular Biology Laboratory) in Heidelberg, Germany. There, he was responsible for the manufacture and maintenance of micromechanical components essential to cutting-edge molecular biology research.

Building on this international experience, Patrick Labouesse successfully transferred his know-how to the Malagasy industrial sector. He has a deep understanding of raw material properties, heat treatments, and their adaptation to the specific constraints of each project. This has enabled him to design and manufacture a range of multifunctional equipment, renowned for their robustness, precision, and reliability. These tools meet the diverse needs of local industrial sectors, from general mechanics to the maintenance of complex systems.

Labomeca is also a team of passionate national engineers and technicians, carefully trained over the years, who share the same commitment to quality and innovation. Together, they provide responsive and rigorous after-sales service, as well as full maintenance of the equipment installed at their clients’ facilities.

A pioneer in the integration of new technologies, the company has recently implemented a remote monitoring system for generators, allowing early detection of potential malfunctions. This innovation helps prevent costly breakdowns, significantly reduces maintenance costs, and ensures optimal service continuity for critical installations.
